The TGP2 Movement: By MIDNIGHT

I was surfing on the http://www.gofuckyourself.com board a few weeks ago and came across an innocuous thread that caught my attention. A Webmaster, who will simply be known as Andy, was discussing his feelings concerning low conversions from his bandwidth munching thumbnail gallery postings. TGP's are exciting because of the high amount of traffic they will drive to your site. Converting that traffic is a mystical triad of part skill, part magic and part luck that is akin to blackjack with its constant mixture of monitoring revenue earned, bandwidth utilized, galleries submitted and hits received. Andy felt that there had to be a way to give the user less and the Webmaster more, and hence the TGP2 movement was born.

The TGP2 paradigm is not a new concept, but it is undergoing a facelift that is driven by a diverse group of webmasters that are dedicated to the success of the movement. The major difference between TGP1 and TGP2 is the bandwidth cost to the Webmaster.

An example of a TGP2 is one with between 15-20 thumbnail sized graphics. Five of those graphics are linked to full-size pictures and the remaining pictures are not. This accomplishes two major goals. First, it provides the user with enough free content to sample the product quality while the remaining graphics entice the user to want more. The second goal this accomplishes is to keep the bandwidth overhead low. Less bandwidth equals more profit.

The recognized center for TGP2 information and support can be found at http://www.tgp2board.com and I recommend that you check it out and join the official web ring at http://www.tgp2webring.com. The "Free Willi TGP" will be hosting a TGP2 forum at next weeks Miami Adult Webmaster conference. They will be introducing this concept to attending Webmasters as well as broadcasting live across the country. They will also be introducing the hottest new TGP2 tool that is being developed in conjunction with both Webmasters and submitters, the TGP2 Submitter.

The TGP2 submitter can be found at http://www.tgp2submitter.com and was developed by Robert A. Cristello, a featured author for Visual Basic Programmers Journal and a former Microsoft Developer's Days Keynote Speaker. Bob, who is now the CTO of The Midnight Collection, has included the best possible combination of the existing desktop TGP submission tools: template driven gallery creation, job management, reciprocal page creation and true by-hand submission emulation.

The TGP2 marketplace is a hotbed of passionate and creative people who are both working together, as well as competing. This exciting field is growing daily, and it is a chance for new and experienced webmasters alike to decrease their overhead operating bandwidth expenses and increase their profit margin. The TGP2 movement is not looking to compete with the existing TGP marketplace, and by assuming that position they completely remove any skepticism that people may have about its success. The combination of high quality and low bandwidth galleries are sure to make the TGP2 movement the next great opportunity to earn big in the online adult entertainment industry.
